Men’s Events

Our Men’s Ministry pops up every so often with different ways for us to get together. Whether it’s a morning brekky or a practical job, we step out of the busyness and connect with others on a similar journey.

What you can expect

We keep things pretty simple and low-key. The focus is on genuine friendship and building each other up.

• Catch-ups over kai: From a simple sausage sizzle to a cooked breakfast.
• Practical service: Sometimes we join in together on a project to help someone in our church or community. If it’s not that, then you’ll probably find us in church sharing testimonies, or enjoying events like bowling, board games – you name it!
• Honest chats: Conversations about life, faith, work, and family, or sharing heart-felt testimonies.

Why it matters

In a world that tells men to tough things out alone, we believe God calls us into community. It’s in these ordinary moments that we often find real encouragement and strength. It’s about being a brotherhood that points each other to Jesus without a lot of fuss.

Joining in is easy

• Who: All men – young, old, and everywhere in between.
• When: We announce gatherings every couple of months in our notices and online.
• Where: Usually at the church or a local café.

There’s no commitment or sign-up sheet. If you see an event that looks good, just come along (and rock up with some friends). We’d love to have you.
